Welcome to the Inland NW Food Network’s Local Lending Program and thank you for your interest in making a loan. These loans are peer-to-peer, low-interest loans that are transacted by people who know one another.
Our interest in creating this program is facilitate the growth and development of our local food system by directing financial resources to farmers/ranchers/producers or food businesses. Specifically, we wish to support those who use sustainable agricultural methods and who are in the business of providing us with healthy local food. We believe in the power of person-to-person connections to change lives and shape our food future.
To begin the process, please complete the Lender Information Form. Upon receipt of your form, we will contact you to discuss possible projects that you might be interested in investing in. By completing the form, you are in no way committed to financing a loan. Please note that the INWFN simply connects you with potential borrowers; it is strictly your discretion to decide whether or which project you invest in.
This form goes only to Teri McKenzie (INWFN Executive Director); all information on the form will be kept strictly confidential until you authorize it to be shared elsewhere.
Note: we request that lenders be members of the INWFN in support of the time and effort required by the organization to do this work. Click here to become a member.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you!!!
