Seasonal Kitchen – Mushrooms

Have you ever wanted to cook with wild mushrooms but never had the chance, or, would you like to learn more? Join us for an evening filled with wild mushroom delight as we cook and sample different varieties, including dry mushrooms.
Instructor: Josh Yake has over twenty years of experience in hunting and harvesting wild mushrooms (specializing in chanterelles and morels) and other foraged items, including wild berries, stinging nettles, fiddlehead ferns, and many edible wildflowers. He founded Gourmet Foragables & More in 2010, initially selling wild mushrooms in his front yard. In 2014, Josh acquired a local business called The Mushroom Resource and he now provides wild harvest items and mushrooms to accounts all across the Inland Northwest. He also leads wild edible and mushroom forays and holds forest-to-plate themed dinners.
